Membership & Subscription Terms

These Membership & Subscription Terms apply to paid memberships for Ḥawwāʾ Prāṇa.

By purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms as well as our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Membership

A paid Ḥawwāʾ Prāṇa membership provides access to articles and features designated for members during your active membership period.

Some content will remain available without payment.

The exact mix of free and members-only material may change as new articles and Issues are published.

Price

The current membership price is:

US$2 per month

Any applicable taxes or charges will be displayed where required before payment.

If other membership plans are introduced in future, their prices and billing periods will be clearly stated before purchase.

Recurring Billing

Memberships renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.

By purchasing a monthly membership, you authorise the applicable membership fee to be charged to your selected payment method each month until cancellation takes effect.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe.

Your use of Stripe’s payment services may also be subject to Stripe’s applicable terms and policies.

When Membership Begins

Your membership normally begins once payment has been successfully completed and the subscription has been confirmed.

Members-only access may take a short period to update where payment confirmation or account synchronisation is still processing.

Membership Access

An active membership grants access to material designated as Members Only.

Membership access is personal to the account holder.

You may not resell, redistribute or systematically share members-only content.

Price Changes

We may change membership pricing in future.

Any change affecting an existing recurring membership will be communicated in advance where required and will apply prospectively.

You will not be charged a new price without appropriate notice.

Failed Payments

If a recurring payment fails, your membership may enter a past-due or similar billing state.

We may temporarily restrict members-only access where payment remains unresolved.

Your reader account and Saved library will not be deleted merely because a payment fails.

You may update your billing information through the available membership-management interface.

Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time through the membership-management controls available through your account.

Unless otherwise stated, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period.

You will retain members-only access until that paid period expires.

Further recurring charges will not be made after cancellation has taken effect.

Refunds

Membership fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun, except:

• where required by applicable law;
• where a duplicate or erroneous charge occurred; or
• where exceptional circumstances justify a refund.

Cancelling a membership stops future renewal; it does not ordinarily reverse a billing period that has already begun.

Changes to Membership

We may add, remove or change individual articles, Issues or membership features over time.

Membership provides access to the evolving Ḥawwāʾ Prāṇa membership library rather than guaranteeing permanent availability of any particular article.

Termination for Misuse

We may suspend or terminate membership access where an account is used fraudulently, materially violates our Terms, attempts to circumvent access controls or systematically redistributes members-only content.

Where appropriate, we will act reasonably in exercising this right.

Ending Your Membership

When membership ends:

• your reader account may remain active;
• your Saved library may remain available;
• free articles remain accessible;
• members-only content becomes unavailable unless you become eligible again.
